Ristorante il Brunello — Restaurant in Baden

This a beautiful Italian restaurant that is beautifully designed in classic style. We had no table reservation so we had to wait but they gave us prosecco during the wait. The personal is very friendly and service worked extremely well. The Italian menu is covering all the usual foods from sallads, pasta, fish and meat and great pizza. The food that we got was well over average but not top. The wine list is ok. Prices looked pretty average.

What needs to be mentioned was the service. They are lovely with a huge amount of humour. Everything arrived pretty fast. The food didn't disappoint at all.

Wir haben 2 Tage vorher reserviert und wurden schon mit dem Satz begrüsst, dass sie schon 10 Leute wieder wegschicken mussten. Es fing gut an, sie brachten Bruschettas und Salami, die Getränke kamen sofort. Aber nach einer halben Stunde brauchten sie einen unserer Tische, das heisst unsere ganze Gruppe von 15 Personen mussten einen Platz nach links rutschen. Weiter gings damit, dass das Essen einfach nicht kam. Immer hiess es: "Noch zehn Minuten", "Noch fünf Minuten", usw. Nach einer Stunde und zwanzig Minuten ging eine unserer Gruppe ohne zu essen, weil sie auf den Zug musste. So ging es weiter, bis nach 1h und 40 min der erste Teller ankam. Es dauerte noch bis 1h 50 min, bis alle essen konnten. Sehr peinlich und unprofessionell. Das Essen ist nämlich nicht etwa billig, sondern in der Preisliga der Stadt Zürich.
