Mastermind Escape Room Bern — Attraction in Bern

We were a group of 5 and did Escape the Kingdom. The overall idea was interesting, but once we got into the puzzles we found ourselves not being able to follow what action led to which outcome. They rely a lot on magnetic closures for different containers (e.g., drawers, chests, doors) so the action required to "open" them is often in a different part of the room. Was rather confusing.

However, the real kicker was when we got to a number lock and the correct combination didn't work. After working on it for awhile, the game master had to come in and check. Turns out the "correct" code simply didn't work. This meant that we didn't get to do a whole set of puzzles and instead the gamer master just opened the next door. This alone was extremely disappointing. For 30 CHF per person, I would (at the very least) expect for everything to be set up correctly.

Of the different adventure rooms I've been to, this was probably the most creative in terms of use of space (having to climb, crawl, etc.), but the least cohesive in terms of puzzles and the storyline. Overall,...

Phenomenal, 5/5 experience. The "rooms" (more like whole "connected areas") are extremely immersive and of high quality in both set and puzzle design. The game masters are always motivating and know how to provide the perfect amount of input needed to finish the rooms and still enjoy the immersive experience. We did three out of five so far and will do them all, worth every penny. The only thing that makes me sad is the prospect that we only have two...

Wir (W25, W28 & W28), potenzielle Escape Room Suchtis haben bereits einige andere Räume besucht und nun die drei Mastermind in Bern innerhalb von nur 21h durchgespielt 🤓. Sie waren wirklich super, alle sehr schön und mit viel liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Die Macher haben sich wirklich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, so etwas vergleichbares haben wir bisher selten gesehen.

Wir wurden durch jeden Raum von einer/m andere/n Gamemaster/in geführt. Alle waren super, jedoch blieb der Master vom ersten Raum, the Kingdom, stets an unserer Seite, was wirklich toll war (zumindest für uns😂).

Es war auch wirklich sehr cool, dass die Mitarbeiter sich jeweils auch noch nach den Spielen für uns Zeit genommen haben um mit uns zu Diskutieren und man unter Rätsel-Enthusiasten coole Gespräche führen konnte. (@the kingdom Master: Darfst dich jederzeit gerne für weitere Diskussionen, z.B für die Definition von gelb und grün, bei uns melden 😉😄).

Wir hoffen sehr, dass es noch weitere Räume geben wird. Wir wären die Ersten, die sie buchen würden und falls ihr Tester braucht, um zum Beispiel die Arm-Länge (😂) bemessen zu können oder Geräte auf Idiotensicherheit zu testen - WIR SIND BEREIT!
