all'estremità inferiore del Lago di Thun, è la porta d'accesso all'Oberland bernese. L'Aare scorre nel centro della città vecchia (XII secolo) e in mezzo al fiume si trova il romantico arcipelago alberato dello Scherzlig. Dal 2011 la piccola isola in cima si chiama ufficialmente “Kleist-Inseli”. È di proprietà privata e non è aperto al pubblico. La vista migliore si ha dal monumento a Kleist sulla Othmar-Schoeck-Weg, inaugurato nel 1983 e raggiungibile con una breve passeggiata dalla...
