It’s not a museum. It just has some children’s art on the wall and some Chinese explanations. But it’s a big open and quiet space to just sit down for a while in the aircon away from any crowds. I would call it a chill lounge but nothing to actually see inside. People could bring their laptops to work or have meetings. Very nice and...

Nice place to go. It is wonderful, but in holiday it is crowded. You can go through the beach in the afternoon seeing the sunset and feel the wind from the sea. It is easy to go there by subway or the light rail. There are many restaurants around the area. You can enjoy the...

Visiting this historical building, inside was pretty much empty due to previous war time; left the outer layer but it’s been revamped and renovated to accommodate modern usage such as exhibition, kudos !

高雄港港史館 是原高雄港港務局，該建築創建於大正5年(1916)間，是一座設計特殊而難得的仿西方古典磚造建築，而且曾歷經稅務、稅關、海事、港務等單位的官廳，可說是近代高雄港發展變遷的縮影。高雄港務局局本部遷走後，此建築改為港史館，於2002年11月28日正式開放外觀特徵上，建築係巴洛克風格，主要建材為鋼筋混凝土，面敷紅磚之二樓建物。室內特徵上為為地上2層，屬於古典系中的英式磚造建築，紅磚外加白色飾帶，平拱入口，上方以圓拱開窗並外飾陽台。開館時間為09:00-16:30免費開放參觀(假日閉舘)。緊鄰的棧貳庫正在舉辦2022台灣設計展在高雄的主展場，棧貳庫就在高雄漁人碼頭旁的舊倉庫改造成為新的藝文活動空間。幾個倉庫空間活化利用，打造不同主題的主展場 ，KW2、設計食堂、設計中島、台灣設計展、台灣職人在地美食、旋轉木馬、渡輪、文化遊艇、遊港船等都許多展覽空間，也有戶外市集和表演活動。台灣設計設計台灣 X 22組台灣設計本次展覽活動分佈在幾個空間： 8號碼頭、棧7庫、6號碼頭、棧6庫、棧5庫、棧4-3庫、棧4-2庫、高雄港港史館、棧貳庫KW2、大港倉D410、壽山輪…值得推薦大家去走走踩點打開推廣！

位於蓬萊路3號，兩層樓具有折衷式樣的鋼筋混凝土造建築，西面為洗石子牆壁，另外三面外牆下緣仿石作，其上大面積紅磚疊砌，加以白色帶狀潤飾，稍微突出建築體的大門，透過白色裝飾將高度與窗子等齊，上方有類似陽台的裝飾，將正門入口的意象彰顯，大門在正立面的偏左位置，每一個立面的窗戶既不對稱，式樣也多種，形成有趣的風貌。 日治時期大正5年(1916)興建，1917年完工，是台灣總督府財務局派駐打狗港(高雄港)區專責徵收砂糖消費稅的官吏出張所的辦公廳舍，而後歷經稅務、稅關、海事、港務等單位的官方廳舍。 1994年曾計劃拆除，後考量具有歷史意義與文化價值，1997年整修後，作為高雄港港史館，2002年正式開放，2003年公告為歷史建築。
