NOT [young] KID FRIENDLY. A rather perplexing experience trying to get a reservation at this restaurant. I called to see about a reservation for 3 adults and 1 child (1.5 yr old baby). They said each individual would have to spend a minimum of 300 NT, even for children. I asked if there were even enough menu items available for a young baby - the response was, that's our policy. If you occupy a seat, you have to spend at least 300 NT. This is the first time I've encountered this type of policy in a Taiwanese restaurant. Even very high end locations have exception for children under a certain age. Just very strange to make such a limiting policy for families.
Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this place for kids or families.
[EDIT AFTER RESTAURANT RESPONSE] I actually have dined at this establishment before, but have never tried going with a child. It is a bit condescending for this restaurant to assume I am not able to understand their minimum spending requirement. I've simply never seen it apply to very young children. The restaurant all but admitted the restaurant (a beer restaurant) is not suitable for kids. I know many other restaurants/bars that don't make such policies for young children, even while taking into account their business model isn't geared towards young children. At the end of the day, it's up to you, the consumer, how much you want to spend. If you want to bring 2 young children here with 2 adults, be prepared to spend 1200 NT even if your...

One of the best tapping room in Southern Taiwan, even compared with ZM branches. Most of the staff certificate with Cicerone license, always a pleasure to interact with them. How I concerned is their indoor deco, which industrial loft is their fashion. The field reformation still need improvement. The tapping room itself is so industrialize that sometimes you would be distracted by the unnatural elements. The atmosphere is a bit of disharmony, coldness, which is a pity because their food is actually good. I can feel the passion via every bites. They also served non-alcohol beverages for underage. Not a professional presentation of Shirley Temple, but it's okay. The scenery is a plus. I would like to visit there in the afternoon. Thousand splendid sunshine sparkles on the sea. The ship and yacht cruise through waves happily. A good place to collect yourself from the...
Read moreWe've come to this place several times, and have always had good experience with service, food, and drinks. The waiters and waitresses have always patiently and kindly explained to us the flavours of the different beers, and we have never had anything that we wouldn’t have liked here. Today, though, we thought, the waitresses that were serving us really went out of their way to make our visit a pleasant one, by handling a minor table accident incredibly beautifully. We were very touched, and happily extended our stay there for another hour or so. This is the sort of attitude that makes you want to return to a place, because you know value matters here. Thank you,...
