I recently had the pleasure of visiting 審計新村, and it was an absolute delight! This charming village is a true gem that perfectly captures the essence of history and culture. The red-brick architecture and quaint streets create an enchanting atmosphere that takes you back in time while offering a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Every corner seemed to have a story to tell, and I enjoyed exploring the hidden nooks and crannies that were filled with character. The preservation of its heritage is evident, and it's heartwarming to see the local community embracing their roots.

The unique blend of old-world charm and modern creativity is captivating. From the artistic installations to the cozy cafes, there's a harmonious blend that makes 審計新村 truly special.

Whether you're a history enthusiast, a photography lover, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, 審計新村 is a must-visit destination. I left with a sense of rejuvenation and a newfound appreciation for the rich tapestry of our past....

I stumbled upon this charming market, and I'm so glad I did! While I'm not sure about its operating hours, this hidden gem is a must-visit for anyone who loves handmade goods and supporting local artists. The market is filled with unique, handcrafted items created by talented young artisans. Our driver, a local, recommended this spot, mentioning it's a popular hangout for younger folks.

The atmosphere is vibrant and eclectic, with a variety of stalls selling everything from handmade jewelry to artwork. It's a great place to support local talent and find one-of-a-kind souvenirs. If you're looking for a authentic experience, add this market to your list - just be sure to check its hours before...

It used to be a dorm for employees of the Audit Department of the Taiwan Provincial Government. After the Taiwan Provincial Government was streamlined in 1998, it became an idle space and wasted for many years. In recent years, the Taichung City Government re-planed and transformed it into an entrepreneurial base and cultural & creative park. There are many bus routes, which means you can get there conveniently. The stalls in the market sell hand-made snacks. It delivers the human touch and warms your heart. Also, it is popular to take some pictures in front of the old houses. It is just like you are traveling...

This is an quint & special "village". Similar to many other shop - it is a conversion of old building and brought new life by all the artisanal & craft shops. We visited on a weekend when they had their markets and even more hand crafters came with their goods. I bought many earrings. One shop in particular really made the trip worth it and it was a girl selling only hand crafted earrings made from glass and wires. The logo had a snail on it. Cant remember the name now. It is on the pricy side for sure. But I really think it was worth it.
