The Place Taichung — Hotel in Taichung

5th time visiting!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Place Taichung Hotel for the fifth time, and once again, it was a fantastic experience from start to finish.

Returning to this hotel feels like coming home. The familiarity of the friendly staff who remembered me from previous visits made check-in a breeze. The room was as clean and comfortable as ever, providing a serene retreat amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

One of the things I always look forward to during my stays is the delicious breakfast spread. The variety of options never fails to impress, and it's the perfect way to start the day before heading out to explore Taichung.

The hotel's location continues to be one of its biggest assets. Centrally located, it's easy to access all the attractions and amenities that Taichung has to offer, making it an ideal base for both business and leisure travelers.

Overall, my fifth visit to The Place Taichung Hotel was just as wonderful as the previous ones. The consistently high standards of cleanliness, the ease of check-in and out, the delectable breakfast, and the prime location make it my top choice whenever I'm in Taichung. Small, cozy, super modern and chic design. Love their shower, with quality shampoo and bath gels (no conditioner). Limited on-site free parking if you can find a space; otherwise it’s a bit inconvenient to park, but still free.

Their bed is comfy, but too way short. I’m pretty sure your feet would be dangling outside of the bed if you’re 5’9” or taller...

The comforter is nice but their standard pillows flatlined on me after a few minutes. I tossed and turned and slept poorly😫. Found out that I can request for a firmer pillow. Will see if that does the trick!!

The restaurant downstairs, Zebra, does not offer vegetarian pasta. Not good for a vegetarian that does not consume cheese.

Their breakfast starts at 6:30am - love, love, LOVE their small delectable assortment of cheese, cold cut, salad, congee and fresh coffee👍👍👍.

The service staff here are very attentive. Speaking in an organized manner shows that you care about your tenants. Although the TV in the room at the time was unavailable due to improper use by the previous tenant, But the housekeeping staff dealt with it patiently and kept apologizing to us. I am very happy to enjoy such a service. Such a positive attitude is very rare. I hope you can continue to work hard to provide good service quality to our tenants. Your efforts will definitely be seen! It’s a work spirit worthy of admiration! You can enjoy all kinds of flowers, plants and trees outside the room. It's so refreshing. The service in the restaurant is also very attentive. The room for improvement is to reduce the appearance of black mosquitoes. Overall it's still...
