Tiger City — Attraction in Taichung

Now let me get this said and done. This is no the biggest mall in the world, or in Taiwan, or in Taichung. But it is a super relaxed place to come with friends and family. Other big malls tend to have big designer brands like Gucci and Channel where as this one has more of a casual shopping choice and a nice assortment of restaurants. As this isn't a huge mall it is very crowded making seen relaxing and great for children to go shopping with their parents. The cinema here is a decent size and I have used it many times. Honestly it is pretty much the same as any other cinema i've been to. The restaurant choice is a good mix of asian and western including a McDonalds and a great Ramen restaurant. The clothes shops are more casual were than designer and the mall itself has a more casual and calm vibe than some of the bigger ones in Taichung. I personally live next to Tiger City so it is a perfect choice for when I go shopping or need food. Now I can't forget the huge Sega arcade downstairs. This includes a children's arcade and a 18+ arcade. This is perfect for kids 12 and above to go alone o with friends but any younger I would suggest an adult...

This is one of the original shopping malls in taichung city. I think it’s popular because of its theater and location There is also a gold class theater which is really comfortable The variety of brands and shops aren’t that great. There are just some random small brands, mostly for young people. It carries just two or three large brand names. There’s a good choice or food, mostly fast food and chain restaurants. It’s a good place to take kids and family since there’s place outside to walk around and toys r us. They have have lots of events and fairs on the weekends in their courtyard.
