The Puyuma and Tzu-Chiang trains heading to Hualien and Taitung are commendable too. For those living near the station, commuting by train is more efficient than metro or driving. Nangang Station has transformed into a leisure destination for locals, boasting a variety of eateries, a cinema, and shopping centers, making it a key facility in Taipei's transportation network and a hub for leisure activities.

Took this High Speed Train HST for the first time and it was a GREAT experience. The ticket counter staff was really amazing to give all these useful information. The hospitality was just more than expected. Ended up taking the return train back as well cause it was just really easy.

He communicated in English fluently and it really helped for getting the commute smoothly. It’s actually not hard to get around. Seems like all trains are pretty much the same in most places.

Just really surprised by how fast it was to get from here to Taipei MAIN STATION. 8 mins was much better than traveling by car.

From here can also get to the Airport As well. Amazing.

Also the price was very affordable.

All in all — Easy, to find the ticketing booth, kiosks and the platforms. Fast, amazing speed. Convenient, with many shops in all stations; seems like trains run at good amount of schedule. Affordable, I have never taken a public transportation with travels for such long distance for only $1.50! Clean! Good impression of this— clean everywhere. Helpful, train staffs are highly trained!! 👍🏻😬😅
