We started planning our honeymoon way before our wedding back in December 2020 and had a very serious research online for something absolutely special. We finally settled for Africa, and Tanzania and Kenya in particular. According to our research these were the best safari destinations and we decided to find a good tour operator that would allow us to express our very needs fully without any compromises.

There we stumbled upon Amara Safari on Instagram, as I went through their page I believed they were couple running exactly what we wanted. We gave them a shot and contacted them to help us organise our honeymoon safari to Africa.

From the first email to countless others Tommy Mo and his team came through majorly! Answered all our questions, met all our demands and customized our safari program the way we wanted. They also recommended amazing boutique luxury hotels and lodges that we accepted.

Then came the day for our arrival in Tanzania, and behold we were amazed by our reception. There was a whole bunch of people at the airport with flowers to welcome us. We then checked out and found out there was a special table under a simple tent just outside the airport with champagne and snacks. I nearly fainted! I have never ever been treated so special on arrival just at the airport.

We then started our journey the next day to Tarangire Park. Amazing place with so much nature and wildlife. Many animals, great views awesome food at the lodge. The lodge was so comfortable and luxurious, just phenomenon.

We headed to Serengeti next, and oh my! what can I say, it was beyond magical. The lodges had special themed honeymoon style for us.

We finished with Ngorongoro area, and that was another highlight of our honeymoon safari. Let me tell you something else, get yourself a good safari guide because I assure you, our guide Aaron was absolutely phenomenon. He knew his job beyond his years. Explained everything from wildlife, sceneries, culture and nature in general.

We then flew to Zanzibar (on Amara Safari recommendation of course) and the resort they recommended was something of a gem.
