This place, for sure, has a prime location and it's well designed. It stops there, the food is just okay; the service is subpar; and the front desk hostess not a good fit for the role (absolute no sense of customer service). First, we had an online reservation confirmation. It however was not transferred to the hostesses iPad which happens. Instead of being solutions oriented, she had an "oh well" attitude. No sense to say, "let me see what we can do or let me check with my manager" etc. Instead, I got attitude, eye rolling and two manager chatting on the side (neither her nor there). As for ordering, the waiter was okay. He did his best but failed to bring napkins, salt and pepper and the items we requested. We had to ask several times and different people to get the basics. Although we saw (what seemed to be a female manager walking around who asked about the food quality), and in fairness she asked us, by that time the damage was done. Our napkins didn't come any quicker; nor did the condiment we requested but she did remove a poorly made drink. Overall, I won't be returning. It's a pretty place with poorly trained staff, hit or miss drinks, and so-so food. If you want a solid view without super loud noise, then go for it. But if you expect a "full package" (good food and customer...
Read moreThis place was disappointing. I normally shy away from writing bad reviews but this place was bad enough to compel me to break out of that shell. The staff were not well-trained. Almost every piece of tableware came out piecemeal (we had to ask the staff multiple times for glasses for our water, napkins, plates, etc). One person in our dinner party ordered a fish dish that took so long to prepare, everyone had nearly finished their food first before it arrived, and we purposely ate slowly. We understand service can be at a more laid-back pace in these parts, which is fine, but this was just excessive. There was little by way of genuine apology or acknowledgement. On top of all this, there was a ridiculous and overly complicated ticketing system where you first have to pay for a ticket to enter the restaurant to assure you’re spending a certain dollar amount first. Just about the only positive was the ocean-side atmosphere, which even then was degraded by the overly loud music playing through the speakers that couldn’t be toned down...
Read moreOur experience at Bravo Coco was absolutely awful, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I made a call ahead of time to book a seat overlooking the ocean, and my request was confirmed. However, when I arrived with my husband and son, we were told the seat had been given away—to someone who turned out to be a friend of the manager! This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for customer reservations was infuriating.
To make matters worse, the service was horrendous. The food took forever to arrive, and when it finally did, it wasn’t worth the wait. Even the cocktail I ordered took nearly an hour to be served. With a hungry child in tow, this was beyond frustrating.
The entire experience felt disorganized, disrespectful, and disappointing. It’s clear they prioritize personal connections over their paying customers. We will never return, and I strongly suggest avoiding Bravo Coco if you’re looking for good service and a pleasant...
