I had such a bad experience with their staff! They have this way stupidly celebrating birthday of the customers playing song in full volume ! My 3.5 months old baby panicked and lost her breath ! I immediately begged them to stop the song ! But they didn’t ! Their employees said they will not stop until the birthday celebration is over ! And I had to run with my baby outside ! Even after that , their boss came and started shouting at me by saying you cannot be rude to the employees! 💁 I was like What the hell! My baby panicked was in shock and they were worried about their celebration in full volume !

Such horrible experience I had with them. ! I felt so let down ! Birthday can be Celebrated! But why the song in such huge volume ! Which can damage a baby’s health ! Otherwise they should tell us we are playing a song ! We would’ve move from there ! They didn’t. Anyways such selfish and stupid team they are ! Though their food is nice !

Customers please take care of your small babies when they play such...

If you go here get the Egyptian dishes, don't try to get pasta and burgers, this is an Egyptian restaurant, you will miss the whole point if you get these European dishes.

We went as a family, my lamb chops were tough, but tasty, shish tawook was good, flavourful, soft, so was the kebab, the chips had a little too much salt but not a deal breaker, they served all these dishes with bread and tahini sauce.

The servers were great, very attentive, the atmosphere is great. My only comment was the staff can be more conversational, my waitress took my plate before I was completely done, a simple, "are u done" would be good.

The toilets in the building, a bit questionable, no soap in the men's room or toilet paper, probably not the restaurants fault but they should do something about it.

Overall this place is great for meetings, family gatherings with their indoor and outdoor seating, as well as their array of menu options, I look forward to...

My family and I were beyond excited to try this new themed restaurant, we got there and the first experience was quite underwhelming, we were trying to find an empty spot for a few minutes while the waitresses walked right past us, had to ask one of them if we needed to reserve a table beforehand, she idly pointed us to one of the tables. We waited there for some good 30 minutes, but no one showed up to take our orders, as we waited there, we witnessed two other groups of customers coming in and getting a much better reception and end even being served before us.

Eventually we had to walk out but we also made sure that we talked to the manager/Owner about our experience.

It’s also worth to note that we were the only customers of African decent at that moment, it was hard not to think that this restaurant only serves people who look a certain way.

We all walked out...

Cairo Egyptian Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with its stunning ocean views and thoughtfully designed interiors. The option of both indoor and outdoor seating enhances the ambiance, making it perfect for any preference. The ordering system is intriguing, utilizing an online platform that adds a modern touch to the experience. The staff were exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful, ensuring a pleasant visit from start to finish. I was particularly impressed by the food – not only was it fresh and delicious, but it was also served surprisingly quickly, even though the restaurant was relatively empty during the early lunch hours. The efficient service did not compromise the quality, which was a major plus. Overall, I had a rewarding experience and would definitely recommend Cairo Egyptian Restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal with a beautiful view.

The Cairo Egyptian Restaurant in Dar es Salaam is a notable dining establishment known for its authentic Egyptian cuisine and vibrant atmosphere. Located in the heart of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, this restaurant offers a taste of Egypt with a variety of traditional dishes such as koshari (a popular Egyptian street food made with rice, lentils, and pasta), falafel, kebabs, and mezze platters. The Cairo Egyptian Restaurant is celebrated not only for its delicious food but also for its cozy ambiance that transports diners to the streets of Cairo. Whether you’re looking to enjoy a hearty meal with family or friends or simply craving Middle Eastern flavors, this restaurant provides a welcoming setting to savor Egyptian culinary delights in Dar es Salaam.

One of the Best rooftop restaurants in Dar es Salaam. Very delicious Egyptian food, we tried Pie 🥧& soup. it was too good. Very very friendly staff, best place to spend time. With family & friends, with kids play area. Could witness the best birthday dance of some of the staff while bringing cake to the table. Nice sea view, great Egyptian art pieces and ambience with good Egyptian music in the background. And the best part was we could get food after 10 pm in Dar which is unusual. Keep up the good service. It seems the owner is paying good attention to the minor details of running the business.👍🏼Would highly recommend to friends and guests. One best thing is, call bell for table attendants is the best feature I have ever seen in restaurants.
