We were recommended to visit the Red Building in Chatuchak when I wanted to buy something for my young daughter, and it turned out to be such a cool place. Inside, it’s like a mini treasure hunt—there are stalls filled with all sorts of vintage stuff, from retro radios, digital cameras, and old signs to shelves stacked with funky clothes and collectibles from decades ago. I loved rummaging through the upper floors for unique clothes and kept finding quirky items you just don’t see anywhere else. The vibe is pretty chill and far less hectic than the main Chatuchak market outside, which made it easy to take my time and really explore. I still wish I’d had more time there. Read moreOne of the best places to shop vintage home items and clothing in Bangkok. Several floors to peruse as well as some outdoor vendors in front of the building and another small adjacent building. I focus on home items which are gathered on the first two floors and the spaces mentioned above. There are many treasures to discover -- particularly lighting, and some quirky furniture especially mid-century and 60s-70s-80s. There were also two vendors with extensive offerings of vinyl during my recent visit. The vendors are quite friendly in my experience, and shipping is usually possible for larger items. The red building is quite large so give yourself at least 2 hours to look around. Bonus -- it's air conditioned! The top floor also offers a food court with many inexpensive...
