first off, the setup and atmosphere is as standard as any japanese restaurant all over the world (yeah, retired young and travel a lot!). what elevates this place for my experience are:

1. very pleasant and kind stuff - compared to other Japanese restaurants in Dotonbori, Osaka, Busan, Seoul, France and Portugal to name a few. their wasabi is legit! only the third time in my whole experience did real wasabi knocked me off my socks, Dotonbori, Busan and this place! no wonder did they gave a half a tsp! bam ! only japanese restaurant outside Japan where i found real iced Yozu drink! tempura fingerlings ! who knew it could be done? well they did it and they are good imho! the Salmon sashimi don is fresh, fresh and really good (with sushi rice; not just regular rice!) Perfect recharge! now back to shopping and walk this...

Indeed, It used to be my favourite Japanese in jatujak area. However, after they change the chef, all the taste and quality fall down. I have tried again and again. There is no improvement of the taste at all and I get back with disappointment.

Sadly to say that need to avoid this restaurant because the price doesn't suit the food quality now.

Last time I get here, they not even provide grated radish with shrimp tempura. So truly disappointed with this restaurant!!

I recently visited Sushi Otaru and ordered the crunchy roll—it was absolutely delicious! The portion size was generous, making it more than enough for a satisfying full meal.
