Really excellent food market. I’ve been in Samui for a few months now, and I usually eat from this market every day, as the food is so low in price. I highly recommend the stall which is two rows in and has lots of different food pots. As you enter the market, you just need to take the second left, and you’ll come to it. If you view my video, you should be able to locate the stall easily. You can have a chicken and rice dish or fish and rice dish for only 50 baht, which is the equivalent of around only £1.00 in UK currency! Unbelievably cheap, and they also give you good size portions - ideal if you are into bodybuilding or Muay Thai. Such friendly ladies working at the stall, who always have big smiles on their faces. There’s also a clothes shop that sells the typical elephant pants and shirts all for 100 Baht.
So if you want a local experience with the best snacks, coffee, sweets and a whole meal definitely come to this market! It’s basically all you need in Koh Samui...

After trying different things at the market, I came back to some sellers 2-3-4 times during my vacation and recommend checking them out: papaya salad stand and seafood grill, they stand next to each other. Literally best papaya salad on the island and good price and fresh seafood. For seafood it is very important to not overcook and they always deliver it (in my experience not all expensive restaurants in Lamai did it especially for squid and charged x3 price). I also liked mango sticky rice booth (the one who only selling it and mango smoothie), fruit conner with freshly cut fruits for 35-40, coconuts for 60.
In general go and...
