Rock Viewpoint, Paradise Beach — Attraction in Patong

How on earth do they think this is paradise...PFFFFT the most filthy and disgusting place on the island of Phuket. There is a taxi service that takes you down the hill which cost 100bht p/p Everything there is shut down, old, dirty, abandoned. the beach itself is not a sandy beach... rocks at shore line.. the viewpoint for sunset is mediocre... not as they describe it. it had a somber feeling to it. couldn't wait to leave. The most disappointing thing about this place for me was the adult eagle in a rusty old cage, amongst the abandoned building. I don't care what anyone thinks but, may the owner of this bird rot in hell No food,....it had a bucket of what seemed to be dirty water, and it smelt putrid. This bird probably has not stretched its wings in a longtime best thing to do at this place is set fire to it and let nature gain is property back again do yourself a favor and avoid this place...

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Hype

Absolutely no sense to go here. Everything comes with an extra charge – you have to pay for the entrance, sunbeds, umbrellas (!), and food and drinks are all at expensive hotel prices. It adds up very quickly for very little value.

Ordering a taxi is basically impossible, and the local taxis are completely overpriced. The staff isn’t particularly friendly or helpful, which makes the whole experience even worse.

The area is extremely crowded, noisy, and chaotic. The beach itself is only good for snorkeling, but even that is underwhelming and gets boring fast. Swimming is almost impossible because the whole area is full of coral stones. Definitely not the relaxing beach day we were hoping for.

Save your time and money – there are far better places to enjoy in...

10 years ago we drove with scooters, both road and beach were free. No beds were there than now you have to pay for and which cover all the beach. Now they charge for taxi and flr the ticket to enter the beach. Same now with Freedom beach. Thailand will loose tourists if they continue to monetize on everything. Mafia controlls all. In Europe or in Dubai all is free and safe. Thailand is becoming an Egypt and will end up...
