The Sky Gallery — Restaurant in Pattaya City

As an amendment to my review in 2023. Another visit with little change in opinion. Food remains marginal. Service slightly better but still lacking. It's is great location but if you get a sea side table the view and experience will continually be marred by rude guests crowding the area for photos. Original review: Great location with nice views, poor staff and inconsistent quality of food. The seating is large and well spaced. On an afternoon visit the food was good and well priced. On a subsequent visit in the evening the quality of food was poor. The staff is poor. They are not well trained many show little interest in their jobs. On both visits gaining the attention of a waiter or other staff was challenging. And don't expect any visits to check on the table as it will not happen. When bring the food and drinks in the evening the staff dumped the dish or drink on a corner of the table, or if no easily available space on the near side of the table they handed the dish to us. As quickly as possible the staff raced away, never saying a word or attempting to place the dish near the customer who ordered it. The waiter in the evening got my order wrong. As the dish that was brought was fine with me I decided it was not worth chasing down a staff and waiting another 30 minutes for the correct dish. Sadly the pasta sauce was bland and the spaghetti was not adequately cooked. the mac & cheese ordered by a friend came with tasty sauce, but the pasta was again inadequately cooked. Wow! Such a beautiful restaurant with plenty of seating and that view (during the day/sunset) is amazing. Came here at night time, they have beautiful lights all throughout the outdoor restaurant (indoor seating options available). They also had lights which showcased the amazing large tree to which you can also dine underneath. I recommend trying to get here early or make a booking. Our waitress was Pu. She was so friendly and attentive. You can tell she loved her job which made the experience all the better. The food was amazing (only 1 dish - pad see ew was lacking in flavour & the least favourite of the table). Thai food is more on the smaller portions size & took a while to come out however the sky pizza we ordered came out in a flash.

Our experience there was so good we came back the following night but this time early enough to watch the sunset. We got there at approx 4:30pm and there were plenty of choices on where to sit. There are different areas, some where you can lounge around on their couches, tables facing the ocean, inside and or under the magnificent large tree. We once again ordered the pizza & also the crispy calamari. Both good as well. Anything under the 'sky recommends' found in the menu is highly recommended.

This is an amazing place where you can relax and take in all the beautiful views of the ocean with the western & Thai food equally amazing. Some people may find it pricey but with the beautiful views, great tasting food & great service it is...

Well…this is my second time went this restaurant, the first time we ordered the western food for lunch and it was good. But this time, we went here for celebrate our friend’s birthday and it brings us a terrible memories. Food: we ordered some Thai seafood and all the seafood is not fresh anymore and the fish is a dead fish. We ordered a very expensive beef and it spend almost 900 baht , but the taste was terrible, I don’t what happen with the chef today, the beef was extremely salty and tough to chew, I can say that I've never tasted anything as salty as this beef, like you can’t even continue to eat second bite. Service: this is a bad memory, the waiter serve for our table are very impatient, The way she looked at us was full of contempt and ridicule, which made us very uncomfortable. As we come here for celebrate birthday and we bring a cake,this restaurant asked us for 500 baht for bringing outside food here, even though that’s a cake and today’s is friends birthday, that’s really makes us feel chilled…… Drink: the drinks I order is called twilight and remove the taste, There is a serious discrepancy between the actual picture and the menu, and the taste is really sour… Not satisfied about the restaurant this time, wherever the food or service. And I suggest this restaurant should manage the staff, otherwise it will only get more bad feedback...
