The Planetarium seems to be one of the oldest in Thailand, if not in South East Asia.
Only 30baht per adult for visiting the presentation (around 1 hour each session) of the "constellation". Theres session each round, please do check their website to avoid disappointment.
The other building (learning building) is just adjacent and also only cost 30baht per adult. Theres 8 storeys, and each levels represents various things related to science (insects, A.I, kids zone etc.)

Read moreBad treatment of customers. We bought tickets for both places and I asked them can we go into the museum first and then planetarium, and she said yes without explaining to us that we need to be at the planetarium at 13:00 (obviously we would go there first) then when I got there they said we can’t go. Went back to the ticket counter and they refused to move the ticket (which I didn’t use) to 15:00. I said there was a miscommunication (and they didn’t have a lot of people there). They were very rude and impatient. They wanted me to buy 4 new tickets (when I already had a ticket that we didn’t use). This place need to communicate better and not treat foreigners with disrespect and take their money. Still don’t understand why they couldn’t move the time for us (if there were a lot of people I would understand). They need to treat foreigners the same as they would Thai especially if they didn’t communicate properly....
Read moreBeautiful space in the center of the city, green zones, good museum, great video programs on English. BUT it’s really needs an upgrade. 1. Program on English’s runs only once per week and only at 10 am, which makes almost impossible for foreign kids to attend it. 2.No heathy food for kids available. Only few shops which sell instant noodles. Low quality of translation from English to Thai. I have visited a video presentation about space (on Thai) and had impression that they just bought license on it but translated very poorly. Seems like they don’t know what they talking about so sentence construct was strange. Also most of the visitors not familiar with etiquette at museum, so I had a feeling that I’m on the open market during SALE, everyone was extremely loud and disturbing during show. Chairs inside might be unclean as people place their feet in the shoes over the seat on...
