Shabushi by Oishi — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Subdistrict

I went at 6:45 PM on a Sunday, and it was jam packed. The process was quite efficient, we got a number and they had a board that announced your number like the doctor's office, we waited about 25 min. There's a lot to see at the mall so you can walk around for a bit till they call. Buffet is 395 for an hour and fifteen minutes, and there's a sushi buffet on the side and a conveyer belt that rings out shabu and vegetables and eggs for hot pot. The sushi was decent, actually. Obviously you don't come here for sashimi. There's a soda fountain and ice cream trunk off at the other end. I ate till my stomach burst and still had 15 min left on the clock (they tell you on your receipt when you need to leave and every 10+ min costs 20baht). Overall good...

Closing starts at 20:30. You will not be able to get most of the menu items. The cleaning is terrible loud (its hard to talk to the waitress. Yes that loud).

The meat consists of 70% fat, which for me was not acceptable. I spent more time actually removing excessive fat then eating.

Noise from the cleaning at 20:30 was so loud I could not properly talk with my friend. Also there was no way to get ice for my drink since all the tools have been removed already (1.5 hours before closing)

When we came everyone was so busy finsihing their work to go home that we needed to wait 10 minutes for a table to be actually cleaned. Everything came really late.

I recommend everyone to go to YOU&I instead. Much better service,...

Service leaves some to be desired I'm afraid. My girlfriend and I visited here around 4pm. We had premium buffet menu. Ordering system was pretty straightforward, though it took more than 10 minutes for us to have the ordered dishes on our table even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. As buffet deal was with the time limit, swifter serving would have been much needed. I recommend you to try here when it's rather busy. As we were the only customers, there was no one else to take dishes from the conveyor so pretty much everything on the conveyor was looking dry and sad.
