This park on Maha Chai Road (a short walk down Radjadamnoen Avenue in Banglamphu - not far from Khao San Road and then right before the fort at Pan Fa/Sansaeb Khlong) was once a prison compound but is now a great place to run and work out all year round.
Travellers needing to shed a few pounds can run the approx, 500m circuit. The park is floodlit at night with security guards present and Thai runners proliferate. There is an old but useable outdoor gym along the circuit, skate park, children's play area, toilets and other exercise equipment
