There is a misunderstanding when we say there is nightlife in a country like India. Pubs drinks dance and food. Putting a reel on Instagram, clicking a picture & drop comments. Feel good about a temporary friendship of some days. Discussing people, making judgemental comments on others. Considering it a success.

Let me explain a nightlife for you. Surrounded by more than 400 escorts around. Some tall, some short, some healthy, some skinny, some dark, some white. Some hourglass & some like a stick structure. Some with big assets, some with small. A whole building with different floors called levels dedicated for luxury experience right from numbering, selection, pole dance, red bulls, diggy diggy with not one but two May be with five. Once you are done you will come out have some good food and go back to rest in the same bed for the whole night. Wake up the next morning say thanks to her or hers. Give a hug and good...

Came here after reading some website on interesting night markets only to see that this is a dead town now... There's a few Thai eateries selling pretty cheap Thai staples, some Indian restaurants on the other side and a taiwanese cafe/shop (ing teahouse) with decent peanut ice cream roll. Nothing to buy at all and perhaps good for a leisure stroll only. Very disappointed and I guess the website I read must have been very outdated or that this place closed down recently... We even walked till the end of the canal in hope to see more shops but nothing at all. For tourist looking for interesting places to visit, u...

This is one of the most local but cozy places in bkk. During the cool season from Nov to Feb, you can sit beside the canal and enjoy various street food. Lucky enough you may meet celebrations or music performances. My favorite vendors are fired rice cakes ( 粿 ) filling with chives or taro or bamboo or shrimp or radish , pour on sweet, salty sauce , very tasty! And the one which runs the very unpredictable business hours, serving the steam seafood. Recommend their jelly fish...

This walking street along the canal is quite popular and busy when it's open (on the weekends). There is some nice wall art to see and a lot of food and drink options to try from food stalls and also permanent restaurants. Sometimes you can see live dance/music acts perform here on special occasions. I recommend going in the evening to see the lights as well. It can be very busy but a nice experience. To get here you can go to MRT Sam Yot exit 1 and walk.
