Immediately bombarded by staff the second we walked into the door. She meant well but it was annoying. Acting like birch is some huge deal and going on and on about the process. I've lived here all I'm life. I'm no tourist, I'm not really astonished by normal everyday things here anymore. It would've been better to ask if I wanted info vs just blabbing at us for 5 mins or so. I've been here a couple times in my life, but this was probably my last. I was already wincing at the pricing of everything but still walked around a bit..... Till we got to the family bowl sets. $2000 for bowls? I think you guys are smoking some bowls. I've seen some ridiculous pricing in our local stores but this takes the cake. $2000... For BOWLS! Uh I'll go on Amazon and get a hand carved mahogany bowl for sub $60. (It's actually what I did) I don't mind paying a little bit more for local stuff but it never ceases to amaze me how far these local companies take the whole "Alaska tax" thing. Resolved and Highly Satisfied Beware when ordering. I ordered a 13 inch bowl but somehow in the remarks it said can you send me an arc bowl. You mailed me the arc bowl. The arc bowl that I was going to order I had deleted and started a new order for a 13 inch bowl. Somehow the remarks for the arc bowl was still in my order for the 13 inch bowl. That did not show on my computer. I can’t figure out why you just refunded me the difference instead of sending a simple email to clarify this conflicting info on my order. When you were asked about this, seems that nobody was interested in making it right, you just wanted to Be Right. Just beware when ordering anything. I was contacted by Emily and she went out of her way to resolve this problem. I have received the 13 inch bowl I originally ordered and I am highly satisfied. We have just received our large box shipped just last week. The package arrived safely. There was a hole in the box that concerned me but after unpacking everything we realized that everything was perfectly safe and sound.

Wow. What an incredible service you offer with your shipping. Not only did everything make it safely but whoever packaged it added in extra sweet touches such as a thin ribbon around my boxes of tea. Each bowl and stand was presented and wrapped beautifully to include it's own company story/product care pamphlet. All of the care for my purchases is greatly appreciated. I do feel valued as a customer and as a tourist.
