Tarih kokan şehrin en önemli simgelerinden. This unique building, dating back 2500 years, lived a history equal to the history of Istanbul and witnessed the experiences of this city. With its history that started in ancient times, it has survived in all historical periods from Ancient Greece to the Byzantine Empire, from Byzantium to the Ottoman Empire. When we look at the historical evidence, the tower was first built in BC. We see it mentioned in the year 410. The tower, which was built by the Athenian commander Alcibiades, was used to control the ships passing through the Bosphorus and to collect taxes. After Istanbul came under Roman domination, Byzantine Emperor Manuel Comnenos strengthened the building with stones and designed it as a complete tower and turned it into a defense building. The tower, which was restored once again during the Ottoman period, was the scene of the performances of the mehter team. Today's foundations of the tower and important parts of the lower floor were built during the reign of Mehmet the Conqueror. The Maiden's Tower, which was destroyed and restored many times throughout its history, was opened to tourism in 2000 after the restoration works that started in 1998.

Maiden's Tower 🗼 is one of the best location from Bosporus Sea ⛵. You able to arrive on this location only by both. For 20 euro 💶 you can enjoy a beautiful trip with the boat ⛵🚢 and you will be able to see landscape view. To go inside of the tunnel you need to pay 50 turkish lira. Is amazing how you can be in middle of nature and to explore one of the best location from Turkey. In September wether is very good to make a vizit. On the board you can eat: turkish pie 🥧🍰, watermelon 🍉, pineapple, and a lot of exotic fruits. You can do pictures with the parrot 🦜 or you can do a session off pictures with Muslim clothes. You have a turist gid ho explain all of the building history. You are able to make a lot of pictures with beautiful place from the middle of Bosporus Sea. Here's is the place we're two continents meet. Is about Europa and 🌏 Asia. People in Turkey work very hard for they life. Turkish lira is very low in comparison with euro 💶. For this reason people prefer to be pay in dollars 💵 and 💶 euro. A lot of location have different prices for local one and for turist one.
