Heritage Park — Attraction in Abu Dhabi

Heritage Park is one of the oldest parks in Abu Dhabi however it is renewed some time back. It is still mintained very well. The park have lots of designated places for BBQ with bins provided to discard hot ash. The cleaners are on duty even late at night and the park is very clean. There are wooden chalets for families and have some privacy even in a park. There is enough space for children to run around and enjoy the time. I was amazed to see families with children entering park very late night to enjoy BBQ. Weekends are crowded and hence the washrooms are a bit dirty. However I am sure during weekdays it must be cleaner. Bring your own chairs or mats and bean bags to enjoy long time. There is a cafe which sells some good food stuff. Be aware that smoking Shisha is not allowed and the security guard is walking around the park continuously watching each group of people. This is the only park close to Tourist club area (TCA). Next to this is Cornish so it had a great view and silence. I come to this part often for walking and fresh air.

The place is well maintained, has place for kids to play, place for family to sit and enjoy. There are some dedicated place for BBQ. Few fountain in the park adds more beauty. They have some rare trees like neem tree, bannian tree etc.

I really enjoy going to this place. I have see many family, kids visiting during weekend for playing and spend quality time. They have many sitting location for you to sit and enjoy the beautiful flowers, green view of the park.

They have enough parking available, also people who stay close by also user this parking on daily basis.

It’s really nice place to spent time with family. Yes it is very rush but there are enough and more space to spent out time. Parking space is available. Barbecue space is available and it’s really great that some particular part is granted for barbecue or else it might’ve been messed up. For kids, there are multiple activities to be engaged with and enjoy Well, everything is clean and tidy. Toilet facilities, both paid and unpaid, are available.
