As a Diamond member of the Wyndham Rewards program, I had certain expectations for this hotel. Unfortunately, the reality turned out to be disappointing.
From the moment I arrived, there was a clear disconnect. Despite earlier email assurances that my loyalty status had been recognized and that I would receive an upgrade and a welcome gift, none of that was reflected at check-in. Instead of the promised high-floor room with a sea view, I was given a standard room on a lower floor facing the parking lot. My membership number? Also missing from the reservation, despite email confirmation and the front desk agent’s promise to update it during check-in.
The hotel itself leaves a rather average impression. The surrounding area is dirty, and the hotel’s interior doesn’t make up for it. The room was only moderately clean, but the biggest issue was the bathroom. Poor plumbing design caused bathwater to back up all the way to the bidet. On top of that, I could clearly hear everything happening in the bathrooms of the rooms above and below mine. The lack of sound insulation made it hard to relax. The view from the window was depressing, and the windows themselves were dirty.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and tried to be helpful, despite limitations in the hotel’s systems and organization. The pool was also decent, although it is not an infinity pool as the listing might suggest.
Unfortunately, the checkout experience also left a bad impression. After checking out, we were asked to wait around 10 minutes while a staff member checked whether we had used the minibar. This lack of trust toward guests was very noticeable - especially since other guests next to us were also made to wait for the same reason.
Pros? The hotel is located right next to a bus stop, and the pricing is relatively affordable.
Overall rating: 5/10. The hotel may cover basic needs, but it doesn’t leave a positive memory - especially for those expecting Wyndham-level standards and the hospitality one might hope for in a city...
Read moreI cannot believe I made the mistake of booking this horrible hotel again, only to be treated with the same level of absolute incompetence and indifference. This place is no help at all. It’s as if they take pride in making their guests as uncomfortable as possible!
Let’s start with their absolute refusal to accommodate early check-ins. It’s like their staff are trained to chant “No rooms available!” on repeat, no matter the situation. You could be exhausted from a long-haul flight, drenched from the rain, or literally collapsing at their reception desk, and they’d still shrug and tell you to wait until their precious check-in time. I’ve stayed at other hotels where they go out of their way to be helpful—one even gave me a room six hours early with no issue. But this place? They couldn't care less!
And let’s talk about their so-called "customer service"—if you can even call it that. The employees act like they’re doing you a favor just by acknowledging your presence. No smiles, no courtesy, just cold, robotic responses like they’re reading from a script. I asked politely if they could check again for any available rooms, and the front desk worker looked at me like I had just insulted their entire family. How hard is it to be helpful in the hospitality industry? Isn’t that literally the entire job??
The lobby itself is an uncomfortable waiting area where you’re forced to sit for hours like a forgotten piece of luggage. And don’t even think about getting a complimentary coffee or water while you wait—this hotel is stingy to the core.
At this point, I should’ve just camped outside because I would’ve gotten better treatment from the stray cats on the street. I have never experienced such blatant disregard for guests in all my travels. Do yourself a favor and book ANYWHERE else unless you enjoy being treated like an unwelcome burden. Absolute...
Read moreHuge miscommunication in the hotel. It looks like the hotel is sorely lacking staff for such a number of guests. At the check-in, a receptionist took a very long time, since the room was not ready at 5PM, but did not talk about it, talking in his own language with someone on the phone (the set of words clean-inspected is clear to me). We checked in twenty minutes later and there was still a housekeeper in the room, who was frightened of our arrival and ran away, saying that there were no towels, but they would be brought as soon as possible. An hour later they were not brought, and only after two calls in the interval of 30 minutes they were brought. Whatever you asked, it takes so long time to get it. After requesting slippers we got them after 3 hours! We were checked in to the connector room. It's not a problem for me, but not in this hotel. At three o'clock in the morning, our neighbours after check-in guess, decided to try to open the door between us, but since it did not open, they tried even harder to try to open it and thereby frightened my mother very much. Later, they were very noisy at night for several days and tried to open the door every day. The windows in the hotel are very dirty, the corridor smells awfully sickly. The pool and sun loungers are not for the number of people in the hotel. I came to pay for the hotel in advance and asked if it was possible to organize something for my mother birthday. If they said no, it's absolutely okay for me, but they promised to do something, just had to write an email in advance. I wrote an email, but in the end nothing was done and the question is: why promise? Only after the manager Merry organized a surprise for my mother, for what I am very grateful to her. For the price of a hotel, you don't expect something wow, but it's very far from the standard there. All in all, the hotel still needs a lot of...
