Rove Downtown — Attraction in Dubai

Excellent stay in Downtown Dubai. The photos and description are exactly what it is.

The room: Burj View Junior Suite There’s huge space in the room, and can easily fit 2-4 medium sized luggage’s sprawled on the floor. There’s also a single sofa with a small laptop table. Perfect to relax if you don’t want to sit on the bed. Plus, there’s a separate table and stool too. They offered a bottle of water and coffee and tea. There’s an also a small fridge. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The amenities are just hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel. Unit was well looked after and clean.

The amenities around the hotel were very good. There’s a pool area and lounge. We took our coffee to sit by the pool but didn’t use the pool. We can see from our hotel room that it gets a bit crowded. The gym has new technogym equipment. It was clean and well maintained. We loved the ping pong table and foosball table which we used. There were meeting rooms available and also individual phone booths if you need to do an important video call.

On the hotel lobby you’ll find several areas for chilling and also working. It has an ambiance of a co-working space.

We love the idea that there was a small grocery store too that’s open 24/7.

There’s no hotel restaurant so you can’t charge your bill to the hotel. However, a Friday’s restaurant is right in the hotel. This is also where they serve breakfast. Which brings me to the breakfast selection. They had a mix of salad, variety of different main meals, fruits, veggies and a lot of pastries. It was good! They served breakfast until 11am.

One downside was that they did not have room service. But that’s okay, it’s easy to just pop by Friday’s or the supermarket.

Check in and check out was fairly straight forward. We arrived around 2pm and they handed over the keys to the unit straight away, even though the check in time is 4pm. We checked out at 4:30AM, by just handing over the keys. That was it!

The unit came with a free shuttle bus to nearby establishment but mainly Dubai Mall and the beach. It was clean and easy to use. Just make sure to go down to the lobby at least 5 minutes before the scheduled departure time.

I would like to commend all the staff in the hotel and building management. They were super polite and helpful. They also greet everyone as they pass by. Plus, the hotel was well managed.

The price is well worth it for a prime location downtown. It’s easy to travel to the tourist destinations. I would definitely stay...

As a parent, I especially appreciated how child-friendly the hotel is. There were plenty of features and a welcoming atmosphere that made it easy and enjoyable for families.
