Here’s mine 😍 A Friday brunch done right at pergolas located inside the five star hotel Roda Al Murooj I had a visit over pergolas with my fellow bloggers and fam for brunch buffet which cost only 99 AED (the discounted rates for all October) . That’s a killer deal for the varieties of food they serve . They have huge space for the buffet where you get to choose the kinda cuisine you love the most and also the seatings where perfect for bloggers and family meet up . Love the presentation of all the dishes they have especially desserts where the highlights. You don’t wana miss this out for sure if you are a super foodie who loves fusion food . I loved the concept of seafood platters they had where you gota choose from the counters and they make it fresh for you . The staff was very friendly with us on helping us serve with something extra we wanted along the buffet also very courteous on our visit . They also had outdoor seating facing the beautiful skyline views with grill stations and food counters ( best for chill weathers ) I would highly recommend this place for a perfect Friday brunch if your planning one that’s really cost effective and also very satisfying 👍

Took the family for lunch. The food was pretty decent, however, the atmosphere was a mix between a DJ, a saxophonist, children screaming in the play area, and a PlayStation. Socializing during lunch was pretty impossible and there is no control on the children aggressively attacking the gentleman responsible of the kids area, throwing the chairs around, including me being harassed by the kids while I’m eating. Where are the parents, I wonder? Moreover, and the worst of the worst, children approaching the seafood buffet section and using their hands to pick sushi bites and playing with the clams and shrimps. We told a waitress and showed her what is going on, she suddenly disappeared and took no action to the matter to stop the children from touching the food. Is that even acceptable or hygienic as per the health and safety regulations? Assume I did not see this happen and I eat from the seafood section and fall sick? We asked a waitress for paper napkins, she came back the first time with paper cups and we clarified what we needed. Had our Christmas Brunch this year yesterday, -Food: The dishes look amazing as the photos, however the taste were so so. I had a few smelly clams and the lobsters from the BBQ area were still half cooked and clear colour. The positive side was a huge selection. -Service: Honestly not up to standard of 5 star. We were not allow to start getting the food when arrived after 1pm(the time on the contract was 1-5pm), apparently they would let us know when we were allowed!? The BBQ cook just ‘threw’ at us some uncooked lobster while we asked for more cooking, he put them on 1 min and the meat were still clear. Lots of waiters are around but we asked questions to some of them and they clearly need more training on what’s going on. -Drink: We paid for the alcohol package, the red and white wine was poor quality, didn’t feel good value for money. -Setting: There were Carol singing and Santa giving out cookies.
