woo-hoo! UAE - Children's Museum in Dubai — Attraction in Dubai

I always heard of the place so I decided to visit. At 1st look all is amazing- it has several different sections- each room has different stuff - my kid personally liked cave, tree house, climbing chips and water zone. We came early morning so it was still quite and we had chance to use all the facility. What was disappointing its that A LOT of things was out of order, so many things which you can’t use or explore for that reason and I believe price for the ticket is high enough for management to take care of it and fix it all. Other thing all rain coats in water zone- has broken zippers, so basically there is rain coat but it doesn’t really give much use of it since kid will get fully wet at the end. Again, this not a big deal to change zippers on coats, if not to change coats. And another very disappointing thing I faced its cleanliness. I love to come to playgrounds early morning because normally place still clean as no much people still come. But here… we talking about empty place and still dirty to the point that some areas was with big layer of dust… like it hasn’t been cleaned for days… not hours. I took my infant to tree house and he moved a bit floor mat from its place and …. It was so dirty- pieces of snack food, some other dirt… i mean infant area in my mind should be the most clean area as small kids mostly put everything in their mouth and touch everything by hands… i am not even mention that it must be sanitized as well. Any way after that i went to nursing room and it’s exactly same issue- it was super dusty. I even took photo of it because its not acceptable to keep kids place such a dirty! And at last we went to have pizza, and I must say pizza was amazing though but service… is worst. There was African lady behind the counter. Caffè wasn’t yet busy, I placed order she was very cold and dry no smile no any kind face.. which is ok for me any way. I placed order for pizza and she asked me to wait for about 30-40 minutes for that… which is really long but my other kid was really asking for it so I said ok. We were sitting people start coming and placing orders than I saw a pizza guy bringing bag with pizza and collecting empty bags… I was expecting her to call me. But no she was making coffees for others busy with new orders than I decided to come and check if maybe it was my pizza there and guess what- yes it was my pizza. On question how long we would be still waiting if I didn’t come ask myself she said- he just brought it, I told her I saw the guy when he brought it . She insisted that before he came just take empty bags and pizza arrived just now. Anyway no use was to argue so we left. Overall place is nice, but service is poor, cleanliness is super poor and maintenance definitely...

We had our daughter’s 4th birthday here. I haven’t visited it before, just saw some good reviews and compared to what I would get in other similar concept places or playrooms in Dubai. The experience we had was absolutely amazing, I was not sure how things would go until we reached and from the moment I met our host Bernadette, I knew we were in safe hands. She handled everything professionally and calmly, accommodating my every request and answering all the questions. Counting kids when moving between galleries, checking with their water/barhroom needs, sending the gifts to party room, I only had to talk to my guests and walk around taking pictures and also joining galleries’ experience when I wanted. Bernadette managed kids so well (however with such younger group it is better to have couple of parents around to support with shoes, helmets, collecting kids from place to another, but again just to make sure they have more time to enjoy), before any activity Bernadette explained everything in a way that kids knew what they are doing. The galleries are amazing, the parents didn’t want to leave the water room it was that much fun and there is so much to do. Despite there were other parties and it was weekend it didn’t feel crowded, because of how the whole space is organized. They have also accommodated a cake that arrived few hours before the party and made sure it kept refrigerates. Our package didn’t include a workshop and it was right for us, kids could enjoy galleries more, maybe for elder kids it could be an option, but we had two 7 year old kids and they enjoyed the experience as much as the younger ones.
