Aberdeen Beach is a beautiful and popular destination for locals and tourists alike. The beach is located in the heart of Aberdeen, making it easily accessible for those living or staying in the city.

The beach offers stunning views of the North Sea, and there are plenty of activities to enjoy, such as sunbathing, swimming, and building sandcastles. The beach is also home to several restaurants and cafes, offering a range of food and drink options.

One of the highlights of Aberdeen Beach is the famous promenade, which stretches for over a mile along the coast. It's a great place to take a leisurely stroll or a jog, and there are plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the views.

The beach is also home to several attractions, including the popular Codonas Amusement Park, which offers a variety of rides and games for all ages. There is also a cinema and an indoor play area, making it a great destination for families with children.

Overall, Aberdeen Beach is a fantastic destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you're looking to enjoy some relaxation on the sand, explore the promenade, or enjoy some fun and games at the amusement park, there's plenty to see and do. It's a must-visit destination for anyone...

I had the chance to visit Aberdeen Beach twice this year, and each experience was truly unique. When I first went in January, the ocean was wild and powerful — the waves were high, the foam thick, and the whole atmosphere felt dramatic and alive. It was a breathtaking sight, full of energy, with the cold wind and roaring sea creating a true winter coastal scene.

I returned in April, and the contrast was amazing. It was low tide, the sea was calm, and the beach stretched out wide and peaceful. The wet sand gleamed beautifully under the soft spring light, creating a serene and inviting landscape.

Aberdeen Beach has a special charm in every season — whether you enjoy the raw power of nature or the quiet beauty of a calm shoreline, it’s a place that leaves a strong impression. I’m really glad I got to experience both moods of...

On a sunny day this place is a treat for all ages

Aberdeen has 2 rivers (River Don and River Dee) and you can walk from 1 mouth to the other visiting the wee fishing village of Footdee or "Fittie" to us locals

Plenty food vans along the southern stretch of the beach and a good mixture so something for everyone, there is toilets in this area too

Theres some cafe's 5-10mins walk from the food vans and a retail park in the area for some essentials

In the summer if you want to see the sunrise with the sound of the waves or climb the broadhill for a better all round view then you've found the right place

Can sometimes see the Northern...

Aberdeen beach is beautiful any time of the year and the water is clean enough for it to take the colour of the sky. It is certainly one of the best beaches in Scotland - a shame that the water is never warm enough for swimming. Lots of coffee shops and restaurants nearby but the beach front could be developed further to be on par with beach fronts in the far south of the UK, but like many things, investment in developing the city in Aberdeen is extremely poor despite the massive oil revenues over the last few decades. For what it offers, it's an excellent place to come for a walk and for grabbing a bite/coffee on a nice day.
