Level entry though the door is a little narrow but this is forgivable considering the age of the building. There is room for a wheelchair at several tables and there are high seats provided for the youngest members of the family. Everything seems to be clean enough so my only problem really was with the hard wooden seat, after sitting for a while waiting then eating I found the seat was causing my arthritis to hurt and I was uncomfortable. Be warned, there is no accessible toilet here! But then I am not sure if any of the beach front cafe's have moved into the modern era and had one installed. I think if one did it would attract a larger share of clients than the rest. Having said that the service was great and the food was hot and tasted just fine. Read moreWas guided to this place via a Google search, pictures of the food looked decent, greasy spoonish which I preferred than a posh coffee shop with limited choice of food. I ordered the largest most expensive breakfast off the menu, referred to as the special breakfast £9 without a drink which I thought was a bit pricey but it's on the beach front so hey ho. I asked for no hash brown and was offered an extra slice of toast which I gladly accepted. When the breakfast arrived I was bitterly disappointed. If I would have had a coffee with it, it would have been over £12. I will add a photo to show you what the 'special' breakfast looks like. No beans, no black pudding, no mushrooms, 1/2 a tomato, 1 sausage 🤷🏻♂️ the 2nd picture is a breakfast in Liverpool including toast and coffee for £5.50. I will let you judge...
Read moreThought I would sneak a coffee and a bacon roll at the Inversneckey cafe before meeting a pal today 31/01/16 as it's generally one of my favourite places to go. This morning there was two staff chatting standing behind counter, i took a seat within eye range and sat waiting for almost 15 minutes for someone to come take my order, it wasnt busy as there only two couples eating in the place. After 12 minutes a few more people came in and someone came to take their order and then mine. By this time I couldn't afford to wait for my order as I had to meet my pal. Did explain the length of time I waited and that I had arrived first, got an apology. This is the second time it has happened but they were busier and i accepted it but after today disappointed and certainly...
