Zera — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

A shining example of how to do something well is Zera a new place on the beach with a lot of competition from some well established venues. First impressions are really good with the friendly staff smiling and showing us to our table in a new and very airy building with lots of natural light flooding into the front where we were seated , Our order was taken quickly ,GF had the chicken and halloumi wrap and i had the eggs florentine with a flat white , really good flavours and presentation , the wrap came with a home made chilli jam which was fantastic , I had finished my coffee quickly so decided to be different and ask for the sahlep which is hot milk mixed with orchid flour and served with cinnamon and is a very trad Turkish drink , one taste and i was hooked , tasted like a subtle chai latte but without the over sweetness , just a fab drink , Pricing was very reasonable and we had to buy some cakey goodness from the large selection for a treat later on , excellent first time in Zera and we will be back for more when next down...

I had a truly wonderful experience at here! The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was full of flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. I especially loved the homemade iced tea; it was incredibly refreshing and probably the best I’ve ever tasted. You can really tell it’s made with care and attention to detail. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for both a casual lunch and a special dinner. What really made my visit stand out, though, was the staff. Everyone was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to make sure we had a great time. They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and made us feel right at home. I visited this café twice over the weekend, and honestly, both times were amazing.

On my first visit, I went for the English breakfast and wow. It was cooked to perfection, generous in portion, and absolutely delicious. Everything on the plate tasted fresh and well-seasoned the kind of breakfast that sets the tone for a perfect day.

I loved it so much I came back the next day and tried the grilled chicken burger and it was unreal too! The chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender, with cheese melted on top just the way I like it. Pair that with their lovely coffee and fresh orange juice, and you’ve got yourself the perfect meal.

The staff were friendly and welcoming both times, which just made the whole experience even better. Definitely my new go to spot highly...
