Visited the museum today, and what a lovely place it is. The exhibits are informative and well presented. They have everything from model trains to woolly mammoth tusks! The museum is set in the old grammar school by the church, and the main room itself is so interesting - nooks for slate tablets, leaver's names carved into the walls, teacher and usher chairs.
Kids can get put into prison, so be good! You can also see a gruesome collection of surgical implements and an ambulance stretcher wagon.
