No change unfortunately, though the London Pride remains in tip top condition (they got that right at least)
Update: not much changed, the Northern owners still have it totally wrong and missed the local touch it is still poor and they have no awareness! (though I can be found daily sitting in the corner for two beers - still London Pride - and a glass of Tempranillo (not going to give up on a pub beeen drinking in since 1961): early doors, gave up on drinking later in the day no local live bands anymore shame)
ORIGINAL REVIEW
Very sporty (well football, horse racing and golf little else gets a look in). Can be exceptionally noisy and no quiet area with full visuals but low sound for the hard of hearing
Have only one real ale on (London Pride) and that is kept very well - they also have the ubiquitous DoomBar for the cheapskates - won't touch it myself so no comment
A fair range of red wines - some not bad - but only working on mark up so should you like Echo Falls you'll be in heaven (but it's cheaper in the local stores - drink at home)
No change it is still a corporate northern owed bar ("we have been successful in the north so this is what you're having" with total disregard to the locals - such arrogance; they should have done a market survey when they first took over)
Beer (only London Pride now plus the cold fizzy stuff for the youngsters) kept well and staff run...
