we have not been to paperduck for quite a few years so we decided to give it a try!we looked on their website they had a good range of food on their menu online to try, however when we visited it was very limited to what we thought it would be due to corona virus and now table service.Staff are all very friendly when you arrive some of the starters like ribs satay were very nice prawn crackers a bit bland, chips were quite cold before we ate them make that a smaller side or put that onto a mains dish only instead , they need to rethink their curry sauce its very watery and not keen on taste either needs improving its hit and miss with their food i will however return once they maybe go back to self service as then i can put the amount of food on my plate and try other stuff without wasting too much, also we had 1 piece of paper to our group they should give everyone a menu to look at as we were all trying to look at once a bit awkward! paperduck if you see this review we shall return but not until buffet service maybe comes back with more choices like on your website lunch menu !look at what comes back from people from their plates and realise certain dishes need to be looked at and changed as like you state #dont waste food!! but if it's not that great in the first place food...

Had to wait for food to be brought out as many dishes at buffet were empty. The cabbage in mixed veg was chewy not cooked enough, the onion barges were dry, prawn toast burnt, no prawns had to wait soo long I decided to have dessert, by the time dishes came out I didnt want it. The fact they take your money of £25 each and think it's acceptable service is beyond me! The waitress said sorry about this but it's not usually this busy! My girlfriend and I looked around to see the restaurant quarter full! It made sense later when I heard the waitress say to someone that the reason the dishes were taking soo long to fill was because the kitchen was concentrating more on delivery orders than the restaurant itself. This is bad management, I know we are all struggling but what a rip off. One woman threatened to go with her family and want her money back if they didn't bring out food in the next five minutes.
