On 19th of December 2022 I bought a box of walkers chocolates (Red box) from Carrefour supermarket in Kenya as a Christmas present for my wife. We kept them in a cool place to enjoy after Christmas. However, on opening them this afternoon, we could not believe what we were seeing. Over half the chocolates were missing and the rest that were left (about a third or even less) were scattered and splattered in ugly pieces. We are very disappointed as we don't know what to do with them. We do not believe they're fit for consumption. The chocolates were completely sealed before opening , and that's why we were shocked to see so many empty holders in the box. If they had melted we would have seen some remnants, but this wasn't the case. I have proof of photos to support this statement.
I contacted Carrefour stores in Nairobi and the customer care department said they cannot help as the product return window of 14 days passed. I am at a loss and had I known that this situation happens, I would never have bothered to purchase your chocolates.
I am turning to you because I believe there's still hope in solving this as your company is responsible for selling products as advertised.
Please could you let us know how we can get a refund or a replacement ?
Looking forward to hearing...

I bought a box of "Walkers chocolates of London" Chocolate Nut Truffles. It says and clearly shows on the packaging that there should be four different types of chocolates inside. Dark Chocolate Cashew Nut ganache truffles. Milk Chocolate Brazil Nut truffles. Milk Chocolate Almond & Hazelnut ganache whirls. Milk Chocolate Walnut truffle diamonds.
Firstly there wasn't any Brazil Nuts chocolates in there at all ! We had two lots of the same type, three types in total.
Next, Nuts.. Where exactly? I can't see or taste any nut inside these at all !
Despite the packaging clearly showing whole nuts near the chocolates clearly portraying that it's a luxury box of chocolates with nuts !
So no visible nuts in the chocolates at all unless they've been turned into Dust and merged in with the chocolates themselves...
To top it all off the chocolates taste bad, stale like very cheap chocolate. But they're not off coloured or anything..
Little to say they went in the bin. Will never buy any more Walkers chocolates.
Also very misleading.. "Chocolates of London" Made in Birmingham.. Imported by Walkers Chocolates , Australia..
So these chocolates of London are made in the UK in Birmingham but imported by an Australian...
Read moredecent chocolates shame about the customer service. I called Walkers regarding a product issue and they asked for contact info to respond to me. This was given. No reply after a week or so so I chased this up. Apologies were given and I was asked to email my contact info to the managers secretary for her attention. I waited nearly 6wks in all no reply, so called once more and ensured the manager was given my address on the phone, in email and this info was given to the secretary once again. A very disappointing lack of response. Walkers need to remember customer loyalty is a two way street and a customer where issues have been dealt with professionally and effectively will be much happier than a customer who has been ignored. My money will be spent with companies who appreciate my...
