I had a great experience again here yesterday so i have increased the 3 star previous review by 1 star...

Food was hot and of fair size and the staff on duty were friendly and professional...

I used this kfc regularly in the past and always a great service previously...

I feel charging customers 30p for a sweet chilli dip after they spend £14 on a bucket is disheartening... and very cheapskate.

Dips should be free within reason on buckets especially larger ones.

Yes the food was hot and fresh, but there was some confusion over a £5 kfc cash voucher from the rewards in the kfc app.

It showed up on my phone as a voucher and the expiry date on the app but it wasn't on the till when I went to check out.

As they had already prepared the order while I was trying to sort the voucher problem out, I resigned to just paying the full price and I was left scratching my head about why the voucher didn't work this visit.

But after all the messing about and recieving my food bag I was asked if I wanted sauces and I asked for a sweet chilli.

"Them are 30p extra" I was told..☹️ not pleased that this restaurant didn't comp a single sauce after a big mess up with the app that even the manager couldn't solve or explain.. just told me I'll have to go through customer services to fix it.

The server on the receipt says maria but that might have been someone elses logon

Either way she was professional and helpful but couldn't solve the app problem. she called the manager but he just said someone else might have used it even though it was right there on the phone screen in front of him and he reloaded the screen so he could see it was current !!

After he told me the dip was 30p and I said if I have to pay don't worry about it .... he then proceeded to tell me (condescendingly) when kfc tell him to make them free he will give them away for free.. and I should leave a comment to this fact in my review.... Wish granted !!

Not pleased today...

I didn't feel like I usually do when visiting this kfc... I've left numerous 5 star reviews on the kfc survey for the staff including some managers in the past, but today's visit really missed the mark for me... Not an overall great experience because of the app mess up, the 30p sauce after i'd already finalized and paid my bill and stepped away from the queue topped off with the managers inability to solve the issue and the condescending...
