Member of my family went to see Bobby Balls Statue, got some photos and went into town, nice shops etc. Did get the impression shop owners didn't like people through the alley to the toilets, my opinion would be. Be polite to people coming through they may buy things on the way back. Just one shop owners comment not all. But I heard her. It was a large shop with a large lighting area. Her comments were heard by my party and we left. She lost a very large sale believe me. She approached us as coming back asking really nicely if she could help. Maybe don't slag future customers off and you maybe can help both the customer and your profits, I'm not naming the place but customer service should be top priority there were 2 monkey lamps she would need to order 2 more, we spotted them going to the toilet at the end of the small arcade and were going to buy on the way back. Always treat people who can hear your comments as customers. I work in retail analysis, tried to get my family member to buy, I had no chance because of the comments. Sorry...
Read moreAttended a concert there today. Little or no consideration given to disabled patrons in the concert hall in terms of seating location or close proximity to the snack bar. The seats being located in a corner of the hall with the view of the stage being partially obstructed. On complaint, we were told that was what was clearly shown on the website and it was very much take it of leave it. The statement being clearly made there was no other space to accomodate disabled seating. What was realy meant was that there was a sacrifice of 12 chairs or so to adequately accomodate the same number in the main unobstructed viewing area of the hall with the resultant loss of the revenue generated. The close proximity to the snack bar, resulted In those waiting to be served, crowding over and around those seated in the disabled area. Not at all satisfactory in this time of social distancing. Poor customer care and adherence to HMG...
Read moreI've always enjoyed my visits to this pleasant and popular park just across the road from Lytham Green, and my latest visit was no exception! The gardens are well tended with colourful flower borders and some beautiful mature conifers. It's especially lovely at this time of year when the tulips and cherry blossom are out. There are picnic tables, children's play area, tennis courts, bowling greens, miniature and crazy golf and some unusual features like the bronze "Shrimper" statue in the lily pond and a cobble clock. So many benches that you can always find an empty seat even when the park is busy. There's a car park next to the pavilion. The café was closed due to current restrictions but you could buy ice-cream and food to take out. A lovely place to spend...
