Lower Lighthouse — Attraction in Borough of Wyre

Just across the road from the North Euston Hotel, this elegant little building with its classical columns is also known as the Beach Lighthouse. Dating from 1840, it stands 44 feet tall and is still functioning, with a light that can be seen 9 miles out in Morecambe Bay. Great views and covered seating all the way round the base of the lighthouse makes it the ideal place to rest your legs after a long walk or to take shelter from the weather.
