Visited this weekend and cant fault the place, we came on saturday in our motorhome and stayed the evening after a night in Lytham on the friday. Their is a Little cafe located by the carpark serving food and drinks at really good prices they have seating (outdoor) . We came with 4 dogs and found the beach ideal. Also have to add VERY clean, admittedly we did go on with a carrier bag on our walks and pick bits up but overall really clean. Dogs loved it and we loved it. It was a nice weekend on our visit and did get busy (no motorhome parking after ww arrived) id rather visit when out of season as i imagine during summer it gets packed!

Wide expanse of sand and shingle, backed by marram grasses and kept clean by the council and local volunteers, beautiful view of the rolling Pennines and the multitude of Lake District hills across Morecambe Bay, ready facilities nearby for beach trippers including toilets, cafés and shops with beach toys.

This is a great beach with shallow water. Grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed their time their. Stunning views of the Furness Peninsular, the Lake District and the Pennines Inc Ingleborough. If you go be sure to pack a pair of binoculars!

Wow what a lovely beach. Despite the Park Run there was plenty of space to walk and some amazing views. Great to see the Life Guards ready and waiting with handy signage for tide times.

Fajna plaża jak jest przypływ.. My akurat byliśmy jak był odpływ, przypływ zaczął się godzinę po tym jak tam dotarliśmy.. Plaża duża piaszczysta, miejscami drobne kamienie. Super miejsca na spacery. Polecam jechać w ciepłe słoneczne dni. Niedaleko splash zone (wejście płatne) z dużym parkingiem. Toalety miejskie płatne 20p. W pobliżu kawiarnie budki z jedzeniem i akcesoriami na plażę. Parking wzdłuż głównej ulicy bezpłatny 🆓. Duzo alejek do spacerów. Polecam
