Funzy — Attraction in Bradford

I’ve booked a party last minute. Booked on Saturday for the next Tuesday. Jess The manager was lovely! Took the time to explain the party packages, and took the time to double reassure me. (because I have anxiety and overthink everything) booked the dinosaur theme my boys loved it! Comes with dinosaurs turkey nuggets. Lots of food! I didn’t realise how much food is included!

The day of the party!

I’ve booked the party starting from 5 till 6:30pm and last minute I had issues with my car + traffic and ended up getting there half an hour late. The manage managed the situation amazingly!!!! She started the party from 5:30pm and because there was not party afterwards they didn’t even rushed us! Party nearly finished at 7:30pm. (1 hour in the inflatable and the rest of the time in the birthday room)

The kids had an amazing time!!! I had the golden package and I got it cheaper because it was on week day. Paid nearly 270 pounds for 16 kids. With all included.

They decorated and made the time the best!!

There was inconvenience because my friend made home made food to share with the adults guests however this was not possible due an allergies policy which is understandable and it was my fault as I assumed it was ok to bring it.

However they allowed us to bring chicken and chips from a local take away which was a big thing so the adults could have food as well.

Nothing more to say than Thank you Funzy for the enjoyable experience.

Myself and my friend arrived about 12.05 after paying our children in and filling out the wavier form it was just after 12.15. Our children played on the equipment only to be told to get off at 1. The children were confused and upset it felt as though they had just got on. My friend went over to explain they had only had 45 minutes she was told that's just the rules! She then went to the main desk to complain where a person gave us a new wrist band to cover the additional minutes. I believe the whole entry system needs looking at more carefully as this different coloured wristband per hour on the hour does not work for people who are walk ins. Something additional needs to be put in place in order for walk ins to be allocated their proper time slot. In addition to this myself and my friend both ordered a hot drink, I had drank mine whilst we still were waiting for my friends, 20 or so minutes past. I went to order myself another drink and ask where my friends was. It had been left on the side and forgotten about! They then attempted to hand me the drink to take over to my friend instead of doing the job they should have done in the first place. I refused and explained I have come to order my own! One thing I will praise Funzy for is that after I ordered the vegan pizza they realised they had no vegan cheese so one of the members of staff especially when out to get some. We had our son's birthday party here. It was a disappointment from start to finish. Upon arriving, we were told by the staff on reception sat chomping on gum that we still had balance outstanding. When we challenged this the response was 'oh yeah, so you have'. We were then given the funzy socks we were told, when booking the party over the phone, were required. However I quickly noticed that everyone in the death trap was using their own socks. Therefore, we asked for refund to be told they don't do refunds. Upon asking for the manager, we were greeted by a man that stunk of body odour and seemed less interested in service and more interested in getting back to his office. However he insisted that we would get a refund but this would be done via their online system and would be received within 3 days (this never happened). The party itself was a table in a corridor followed by an unsupervised room with a sticky carpet from spilled food and drink. The pizzas were dire and anaemic which even the kids spotted didn't look right. The 'bouncy castle' bit was ok but covered in gaffa tape to seal tears in the lining and supervised by teens who were more interested in chatting each other up than spotting kids who had been hurt or needed help.
