I was really impressed and happy with the joint birthday party at infinity. A little confusion at the start as it wasnât a straight forward party but the party hosts and manager were more than accommodating.
We were allowed in early to decorate the party rooms, juice on tables ready for when guests arrived, cakes taken to the kitchen ready with candles and cakes cut and wrapped for party bags at the end.
The party hosts didnât forget anything appearing with slushies, candy floss, food and ice pops when required. There were things needing changing and they did everything we asked with enthusiasm. Even asking if we needed help decorating at the beginning which really gave that feel of nothing was too much to ask.
Great things the party hosts and management team could not of helped more really great effort.
food was great plenty of it and good quality
all the little extras were great candy floss, ice pops and slushies and free passes back in for another day just made it really special.
the place was spotless clean and staff tending to cleanliness almost seamlessly during our time there.
at no time did we feel like we were running out of time or being pushed to leave to make way for others. It was just the right amount of busy for a Saturday afternoon.
a great local location with extremely good parking and the whole area felt safe and open. Our children are 5 and 7 and we found this place perfect for this age group.
Things to improve a loud speaker system to call children off the equipment for when it was time to eat etc⌠I did find I was running about with the party hosts to gather the children up at these times.
consider cheaper pricing on soft drinks for grown ups.
a separate table for gifts and party bags in the party room
The younger toddler area is upstairs we only had one under 4 year old at the party so the parent couldnât stay with the party however some of the younger group did go upstairs to play which meant they werenât alone all the time. my suggestion would be to move the toddler area downstairs so itâs all on the same floor. Iâm not sure if itâs possible space wise but the party rooms could move upstairs away from the...
Read moreMy 5 year old really loved the downstairs area. It was set out great and with plenty to keep kids entertained.
However upstairs (where the toddler area) is located up two sets of steep glass stairs was in my opinion a very awful accident just waiting to happen. In the time we were there, we must have closed the gate 10+ times, where kids and even "supposedly responsible adults" just kept walking through and leaving the gate wide open.
The steep glass stairs are located directly opposite the toddler play area, and therefore if any child happened to wander off and fall down those stairs it would result in a really horrific injury.
More safety measures are absolutely needed please, (im actually surprised that this concern has passed a H&S inspection) as the toddler area should probably have been put downstairs to begin with and with older children's party rooms upstairs, but failing that please put another gate on the entrance into the toddler area so that there is at least two barriers of protection between toddlers playing and a huge flight of glass stairs. I have twins, so there is no way I would consider coming back on my own unless there was at least two adults present to constantly stand by the entrance making sure the children were safe, which just isn't a pleasant overall experience as you absolutely cannot relax...
Read moreWe took our 2 boys here at the weekend, it was mine and my 6 month olds first time, but my partner had brought out 19 month old once before. The place itself is good for kids walking stage upwards but we ran into afew issues. First, the baby room was quite sparce . Second, the place was absolutely freezing, so much so we had to keep our coats on for the most part. But the most concerning was the fact that they didn't have an Allergy list available. My son has a soy allergy so we have to be careful when ordering food out, but they didn't have any infomation available behind the counter, and it was the same when my partner brought our son a month before. We ended up having to leave so we could feed him because the only other option was to have someone run back and forth to the kitchen to check on items ingredients. I spoke to the manager about this and she said that it was a mistake and that she printed a new one that morning but it just seemed a little too convenient to me. I just find it very concerning that all 4 people behind the counter couldn't find a list that is legally required to be available. My sons spent about half an hour playing before we had to leave. If your child doesn't have an allergy and you don't mind the cold then I would highly recommend this place, but I can't trust them with my...
