This review is for the reggae event they put on last Saturday! It was so disappointing and chaotic. Very poorly managed. Not at all what we expected. We got there at 6pm, it was on until 9pm, and had intended eating there, trying some cocktails and listening to some good music by the water (as advertised) The first thing to hit us when we got there was the disgusting overpowering smell of weed! There was a very limited food menu just 2 chicken options, one of which they'd sold out of by 6pm! So we decided just to have cocktails instead. Eventually located the outdoor "bar" (a couple of tables shoved together) that was being "manned" by a girl who looked like she didn't want to be there and couldn't cope. I looked for a cocktail menu but there wasn't one, so I asked her what cocktails they were offering. She looked blank and said I can do a rum punch. That was it! I agreed to that as I was losing the will to live by now having to yell over the loud music blasting out. She took a glass and grabbed a load of ice, WITH HER HANDS-no gloves (?!!) sloshed a couple of ingredients into it and shoved it towards me. I was so stunned at her sloppiness and lack of hygiene I was rendered speechless! With hindsight I wished I'd made her use a scoop for the ice, or better still not bothered with a cocktail as it was awful and a waste of money. We left soon after and had food and drinks at a restaurant in the Bay. Would not recommend any of their events if this is how they...

I'd probably enjoy this place more as a museum, or a genuine Norwegian centre. Today it just doesn't feel at all Norwegian. The building feels repurposed, which makes me feel a little sad. Repurposing buildings is great, but it only tends to work when you have something...
