A big thank you to Hannah, a member of staff at the Pierhead Building / the Cymru Parliament for telling us all about the Tiger Bay and answering our questions on the history of the Docs. My partner and I received a very warm welcome and marvelled at the history of this peculiar building. I was impressed to find out that Cardiff, and specifically the Docks, have always been a culturally diverse place. We also enjoyed the temporary exhibition on female community leaders on the second floor - very inspiring!

Fine old building preserved during Bay renovation. Originally dock offices, now a part of next door Parliament and used for meetings, exhibitions and visitors. Well worth a look, although there was not much to see except the building itself. Free admission .

A Grade 1 listed building built in 1897 in Cardiff Bay. It is a beautiful building outside and in with lots of character with carved friezes and gargoyles. Outside you can clearly see the former dock it stood at the entrance. Definitely worth a visit.

Built by William Frome in the early Victorian era, this building was once the offices of the Cardiff Railway Company. Now a part of the National Assembly for Wales, the building acts as a unique visitor centre, events and meeting venue.
