Not family friendly! My recent experience at Tiger Yard was far from satisfactory. The establishment claims to be a family-friendly venue, as explicitly mentioned on their website: "Tiger Yard is a family-friendly venue. We have a variety of food options that cater to all ages." However, the reality I encountered upon arrival with my son at 20:30 was quite the opposite. I was shocked to discover that children were not allowed entry, and we were turned away by the door staff. This experience not only ruined our evening but also left my son deeply upset and disappointed.
First and foremost, I must express my disappointment with the misleading information provided by Tiger Yard on their website. It is essential for businesses to accurately represent their offerings and policies to potential customers. However, the fact that my son and I had to endure a lengthy one-hour trip only to be denied entry due to their no-children policy is both frustrating and unacceptable.
The refusal from the door staff was not only abrupt but also lacking in empathy. Considering Tiger Yard's claim of being a family-friendly venue, one would expect a more considerate approach to handling such situations. Instead, my son was left feeling rejected and upset, which is far from the experience we anticipated.
I strongly urge Tiger Yard to review and rectify their policies, particularly with regards to their claims of being a family-friendly venue. It is essential for them to either align their practices with their advertised promises or, at the very least, provide accurate information on their website to prevent such disappointing situations from occurring in the future.
In conclusion, my visit to Tiger Yard was marred by the fact that my son and I were denied entry despite their claim of catering to all ages. This experience not only wasted our time and effort but also had a significant negative impact on my son's emotions. I hope Tiger Yard takes this feedback constructively and implements necessary changes to ensure a truly family-friendly experience for...
Read moreThis has to be one of the worst street food venues in the whole of the UK
La pantera - some of the worst tacos I’ve ever eaten in my life. Staff had powder on their nose/face in the middle of the day and looked like he was tweaking out. This is a family friendly venue I thought?
Dirty bird - these guys make some downright awful fried chicken with no flavour at all. The batter tasted like plain flour. The wings were tiny and you buy in all your stock including cheese sauce according to your staff?. Shocking state of affairs guys. Laughable food
General manager (James?) with the painted nails seems to love avoiding doing any work, can always be found carrying his little dog around the venue, or catch him walking round the venue smoking rollies or downing pints.
No professionalism here what so ever. Rude/slow waiters and service. Would never return here sadly.
Serious question - why spend so much money on this business and get some of the worst street food traders in the area in here?
All the gear, no idea, clearly - don’t get me started on the raves they hold out the back. You guys are an events company, not a food business, stick to...
Read moreWe have travelled to tiger yard twice now to try the food. Mainly for Fire & Flank. The first time we travelled there (28miles one way), we looked at the opening times we were then told it wasn’t opening until a hour after stated. Even tho this is printed on a large sign outside also. We then decided to go back today (Sunday). Again travelled 28 miles upon arrival we were told by the staff even though it shuts at 8 the food places shut at 7. We ordered from Dirty bird and Fire and Flank at the same time 1842pm. The chicken arrived quickly we then waited for about 30 minutes until we asked where our fire and flank was as the kitchens shut at 7. The lad went and asked fire and flank and they didn’t know, we waited and he came over and said he didn’t know what had happened but the kitchen was shut and we would get a refund. Also most of the food places weren’t open for ordering only 3 were. The bar charges £2.50 a can of Pepsi. From what I could make out our order had gone to someone else. Now having worked in customer service the way in which it was handled wasn’t great. Just a here’s your refund. We won’t be...
