Talk about the place that just won't die!.. The Cambridge Centre has been my local mall for nearly my entire life. I have seen hundreds of stores open and close here. I have seen the mall at max capacity, and I've seen it as an 'abandoned mall'. This is a local relic that just won't quit.

With a modest food court, go-kart track, and 2 arcades, this mall has a lot for entertainment, and food. However, the go-kart track and arcades are very fresh. The go-kart track is built into the old skating rink next to the food court - so let's talk about the issues with that. I don't know about you, but I don't want to eat my fried rice while constantly listening to the go-karts braking and crashing into the barriers. Yes, they are electric karts, but they are still shockingly loud. You can't really hold a conversation in the food court if multiple karts are racing, and it can be quite surprising and jump-scary when a kart hits a barrier or slams it's brakes.

When it comes to stores, this mall is showing signs of its second wave of abandonment. Stores come and go like a revolving door, and heading to the left side of the mall with the former Hudson Bay, it really feels like a ghost town at times. Half of the stores on that side of the mall are closed and just empty lots now. But putting blinders on, and focusing on the rest of the mall really solves that issue... The newer renovations (a few years old now) have modernized parts of the mall, with Sportchek, Marks, and Indigo sporting a clean, modernist design.

There have even been a couple of celebrity sightings here - Notably Ricky Berwick (Youtuber, and social media star), as well as Justin Bieber, who was spotted buying jeans in a former store.

Overall, it's a bit of a smaller mall, being able to walk the entire mall within minutes. Nevertheless, it's still a fun place to spend an hour or 2. When given the choice, or the need to go shopping, I would choose any of the other malls in the area (Stone Road Mall, Fairview Park Mall,...

The Cambridge Centre is a great place to do mall laps. Aside from the variety of merchants in the mall, and the movie theatre and the hockey rink, it is a great mall to stroll. There are so many things to look at, and do; a array of food vendors, and the info displays near the rink allow you to squeeze in a little bit of education or learning, while you are there. I will also mention the quality of the reclining seats in the Cineplex movie theatre are so good, it is worth the drive to the Cambridge Centre to take in a movie. An additional feature of the mall is the large scale map of the Grand River region on the floor, near the main entrance. Identifying where you are on the map, and witnessing others do the same, or witnessing people help each other to navigate the map, transform the feature into a unifying experience. People really enjoy looking at course of the Grand River to identify where they are, and where they live, and on more than one visit, the map has inspired people to share their interesting stories about the region. In addition to the ample parking the mall offers, the building is serviced by public transit and along with the movie theatre, is...

I grew up venturing the wonderful stores of the Cambridge center unfortunately all those wonderful stores are now gone but they do have some things used to take my wife here all the time then they got rid of the good bookstore now she's angry every time she looks at the Rogers Pavilion but she likes Indigo so I guess that's okay unfortunately they won't allow me to give it a sixth star but I would if I could be careful of the East side Mario's they're addictive and you'll get at least the Cambridge 20 if you don't know what the Cambridge 20 is in Cambridge you gain 20 lbs because they're too many good restaurants and places to eat such as East side Mario's I know it's a chain but we don't have any of them where I live now and it's kind of sad anyways back to the Cambridge center the dairy Queen has been there since the dawn of time and so is the orange juice so I don't recommend the orange juice all in all if they brought the target back would be the perfect mall then again if it was zellers like it should have been a long time ago with that fantastic diner I would currently still be in the...

Are you ready to rrrrev up the fun? Thursdays are Glo Karting nights at K1 Speeding in Cambridge. We had a blast racing through the tracks and seeing who could get best score. We were also surprised to learn that they’ve got a full bar and arcade on the upper level, making this the perfect night out 🕹️ One race (12 laps) is $31, but the price goes down if you buy more. There’s also an annual $9/membership fee which gets you access to the helmet, headsock and lockers. For an extra $5 you can upgrade to a Go Pro helmet to film your race! Our tip is to head there later in the evening when the sun is down to make the most of the epic glow racing. 📍K1 Speed Cambridge at 355 Hespeler Rd, Cambridge, ON. Small mall compared to the likes of Square One but has a lot of great features. The food court has roughly 10 options of food including a Tim Hortons. They have a full size ice rink indoors with weekly public skates. The movie theatre is currently being upgraded and has the best seats I have ever sat in, also at no additional cost. The whole movie theatre is VIP seating for free. They are currently putting in an indoor bowling alley as well to complete your night of fun. I gave this mall a 5/5 because even though it's small and could use some upgrades, there is definitely some potential here. Items needing improvement: *Outside look and feel of the mall could use upgrades including the parking lot *add more stores and food options *replace empty stores with new stores

House of Ornaments is a festive haven, offering enchanting Christmas ornaments at remarkably reasonable prices. What sets this experience apart is the incredible personalization they offer for free, turning each ornament into a heartfelt keepsake. The warmth extends beyond the decorations; the staff, particularly a wonderful lady, exudes friendliness. Her assistance made my first Christmas in Canada truly special. The selection of ornaments caters to various tastes, ensuring there's something for everyone. I found the perfect, thoughtful gifts for my friends, and the overall experience left me with a heartwarming impression. House of Ornaments is a must-visit for holiday magic!
