Desi Food Mart — Restaurant in Cambridge

You guys are not improving your services rather you are getting worse day by day. Last month, I ordered 2 bhalla paapdi, waited for 30-40 min then got to know after opening that I have received someone else order having aloo chat.. so what you guys want from customers?? Should we open the container to check whether you have given us the correct order??

And now today, we ordered non-veg thali, soya chaamp and aloo chaat. You guys took more than 90 min to just prepare 3 items!!!! And on asking for how much more it will take?? The staff replied if you are waiting for long you can wait for 5 more minutes.!! Its canada brother !! Everyone gets paid hourly we are not here to waste time. Finally got the order, We were heading towards our place and checked the order and found soya chaamp missing!!! Then we went again to take that and it took 15 more minutes.. Is this what you call improvement in your services??

Your bills for indian food are like pathetic . No description of prices of items on the receipt at all. Only store with No Manager inspecting the staff, no quality check,...

What really ticked me off is that their management and some of the male staff dont wear masks in the store. The women all wear them but the management is male and they dont think they have to, even while they are sneezing and coughing around open food and open vegetables. They think they are too cool. Its a by law in Cambridge people. Like it or not you're not too cool to not abide by it. I told them once they should and they said sure sure we will... next time I go there its the same. If they aren't abiding by such a visible by law and the staff are too chicken to call out their manager for not wearing a mask at the height of covid infections I can't imagine they will adhere to other food safety regulations either. We got food from there once it wasn't good. Its really cheap.. but not tasty. The grocery store is big with lots of stuff. But I can't support a place that is visibly flaunting by laws...

One employee not good! I loved the store and everything, even the eatery is also very very good but their service is very bad. When I ordered an order online through Uber Eats, a girl named 'Shivani' was there who said she will send me the proof after a long conversation between me and the Uber Eats employee and her. She said that she will send me the proof she had Chappattis in the order. However, she never sent me any picture nor did she include it. Then she started blaming the Uber Eats guy that he has taken that. I asked where she could settle she asked me to come to the store and get them again. Why would I order from Uber Eats then? Other stores say we can give you free meal or anything some give credit. She doesn't know how to deal with the customers! But overall, everyone else is helpful, cheerful, cooperative and thankful.
