This park is a hidden gem for all ages! It's quite spacious, making it a great spot for a variety of activities. There’s a dedicated children’s area where the little ones can have a blast. If you're into sports, you can bring your own equipment to play football, cricket, or volleyball, though keep in mind it’s not a proper ground. The park is perfect for a leisurely walk, and there's plenty of space to spread out a blanket and enjoy a picnic. During the summer, you’ll often find an ice cream van parked nearby, which is a nice treat on a warm day. Overall, it's a fantastic place to relax and enjoy some outdoor time, though a few more amenities could make it even better.

OK. Small play area, lots of space. Not much else. 2019 update. Significantly improved by the addition of paths at the top of the park for walking and running.

Good place to take the dog, plenty of open space, play area for mixed age of children, but let down by not having a public toilet facilities

A great spot found for spending time outdoors. It's got a nice-sized playground for kids of all ages, and loads of open green space, perfect for picnics or just hanging out.

You know how much your little ones love playing, right? The play area is awesome, and it'll keep them entertained for ages. Plus, there are plenty of football pitches, so you can have a kickabout with your kids.

If you're in the mood for a relaxing walk, you can go around the park's perimeter and check out the Peace Orchard, which is a lovely spot to unwind. Oh, and you'll be happy to hear that on weekends during spring and summer, there's usually an ice cream van parked nearby - perfect for a little treat!

Next time you're looking for a place to spend some quality time with family or friends, give Coundon...

Once you have navigated the very severe "sleeping policeman" speed humps on the road (Waste Lane), and if you have managed to plan ahead to avoid the floods of parents in cars totally choking the area who are dropping off and collecting children from the school, you will often find the park heaving with children, both accompanied and unaccompanied, so not often somewhere you will find a bit of peace and quiet. Fair enough, then it should be good for those taking kids there, but sadly not recommended for this or for responsible dog walkers either, due to very irresponsible "trophy dog" owners allowing them to run amok, so it is no surprise when a small dog was mauled to death there just 3 days ago (see the Coventry Telegraph for details). A good...
