A great spot found for spending time outdoors. It's got a nice-sized playground for kids of all ages, and loads of open green space, perfect for picnics or just hanging out.

If you're in the mood for a relaxing walk, you can go around the park's perimeter and check out the Peace Orchard, which is a lovely spot to unwind. Oh, and you'll be happy to hear that on weekends during spring and summer, there's usually an ice cream van parked nearby - perfect for a little treat!

Once you have navigated the very severe "sleeping policeman" speed humps on the road (Waste Lane), and if you have managed to plan ahead to avoid the floods of parents in cars totally choking the area who are dropping off and collecting children from the school, you will often find the park heaving with children, both accompanied and unaccompanied, so not often somewhere you will find a bit of peace and quiet.
