Keresley Fish Bar — Local services in Coventry

Keresley fish bar is our local chip shop and we treat ourselves to it now and again and it is usually delicious. However, we ordered a VERY large delivery for our wedding and they completely excelled any of our previous views on them. We order 120 meals (fish & chips, sausage & chips, chips, sauces, jarred pickled eggs/onions). We went to the shop a year prior, they confirmed they could complete the order. We then gave them our order 1 week prior to the event so that they could assure they got enough from their delivery. They packaged it how we asked & added our own personal stickers that we had ordered, without complaint. They executed it fantastically. All food was delivered efficiently (around 9pm), it remained warm, tasted INCREDIBLE (best fish & chips form them yet) and at such a reasonable price. We highly recommend and will definitely order a large delivery again in the future without fear. Thank you so, so much for everyone involved in this as it was a large job. Rude staff con man behind the counter we buy 3 meal deals one small fish chips and mushy peas £3.90 acording to the board kids meal £3.20 and burger meal £4.00 total £11.10 my partner got changed £15.65 like i said con man burger burnt even the bun was burnt it was black fish was salty and they had put loads of salt on the kids meal you could see the salt never again i advise dont go there unless you have more money than sence and a stomach that a billygoat would be proud of We had to throw the food away and go somewhere elce wich serves good food not the rubish that we got never never never again am i buying food from here Only reason one star is because it would not accept no stars but we want to give it minus 5 stars that bad people please dont go there its...

After having A doner Kebab from here before that was given to me with meat in a tray and a soggy pitta placed on top i thought i would go in this time and explain that i want the meat in the pitta. That is what a kebab is! After explaining in clear English and using my hands showing the meat going into the pitta i thought they might have got the message, but no. I got home to find they had done the same again. How are you supposed to eat the flipping thing if you were walking home eating it or sitting in your car! Also beans were cold and tasted like tesco own. Chips were cold and hardly cooked. I have seen other reviews stating the same about problems with this place. Call yourself a chip shop lol.
