Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping — Attraction in Doncaster

★★★☆☆ Lakeside Village Outlet Shopping is a pleasant, clean, and easy-to-navigate retail park located just outside Doncaster town centre. It offers free parking and a relaxed, open-air layout, making it convenient for a casual shopping trip.

The centre features a medium number of stores, including well-known brands like M&S Outlet, Next Outlet, Clarks, and Crew Clothing . While these are solid choices, the overall variety feels somewhat limited, especially if you're seeking a broader range of fashion or lifestyle options. The discounts are decent, but not always significantly better than standard high street sales.

On the positive side, the outlet is family-friendly and dog-friendly , with amenities like clean restrooms and several spots for a coffee or snack, such as Costa and Greggs. The atmosphere is calm, and it's rarely overcrowded, which adds to the comfort of the visit.

However, if you're looking for a more extensive shopping experience with a wider selection of brands and eateries, you might find Lakeside Village a bit underwhelming. It's suitable for a quick visit or if you're in the area, but perhaps not worth a dedicated trip solely...

DESPERATELY NEEDS INVESTMENT AND EFFORT SPENT ON IT.

What a missed opportunity?! Compared to Junction 32, York Designer Outlet etc. this is an embarrassment for Doncaster.

It should be buzzing with high quality shops (Levi’s, Crew Clothing etc.) Restaurants and entertainment so that you can easily lose a day there by having fun and getting what you need.

It does have a few good shops, M&S…Clark’s…Next…Body Shop BUT it’s overall not designed for young people and with the closure of GAP, it’s not really that great for young families.

It’s such a shame as it’s in a great location (Doncaster is amazing generally) with a lot of free parking and easy access to the motorway.

I hope it improves soon and I hope someone (whoever manages it) cares about it soon because as you walk around the place you can tell it’s had its heart ripped out...

I visited the outlet to occupy a few hours while I was in the area and as a first time mum I was very impressed with the parking and changing facilities. The parent and child parking spaces were clearly signposted in the car park, which is great for someone who hasn't visited before or isn't from the area like myself. The baby changing facilities are very clean and spacious. To be honest the entire outlet was clean - bins provided to avoid litter and there was always someone from the facilities team walking around to keep on top of anything. These points alone were enough for 5 stars but even in the few shops I visited (Costa, Next and The Body Shop) the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive - talk about service with a smile!
