I'm a massive fan of our canal network here in the Black Country. They stretch for miles and miles. They are well maintained and you would be surprised by the engineering and beauty as you travel along them. I personally run and cycle the network and the Delph Locks are a favourite of mine.

My step-daughter & I found it a most enjoyable place to walk and were fortunate enough to watch a canal boat navigate through several locks, which was really interesting. We parked for free at The Waterfront and walked to the locks.

So beautiful so lovely amazing long walks. Apparently Birmingham has the most canals and rivers in England. And they are beautifully preserved. Dog walkers paradise.

Took a bike ride across the canal with my son was a nice ride down to the vine kinver from bumble hole

Good walk on the canal we will be back in warmer weather for bike ride hopefully see the heron again
